Wow! I’m not sure if Anna is actually in this video (other than in a couple of UITA stills that I caught), but it was so awesome I just had to share it. UITA director Jason Reitman put this together to give us a taste of what it’s been like traveling around promoting the movie, and it’s quite an eye-opener.
Anna talks about the video too, in a new interview with The Wall Street Journal (full interview under cut):
Jason Reitman did that viral video slicing up the press tour for “Up In Air.” It’s pretty manic. Is that how it’s been for you?
[Laughs] Yeah, it makes it look more like a whirlwind, but the thing that’s interesting for me is finding out how tedious it can be. It’s funny how slow it feels when you’re doing it. And I just feel so badly because I’m so sick of talking about myself.
Just uncovered this video of highlights from the Los Angeles Variety screening of “Up in the Air”. Anna’s part is pretty brief, but I enjoyed the video, and you should too if you loved the film as I did.
Woo-hoo, Houston loves Anna! The Houston Film Critics Association named her Best Supporting Actress of the year for her work in “Up in the Air”, also naming George Clooney Best Actor and gives Best Screenplay to Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner. Which awards will this movie take home next?!
Best Actor: George Clooney, Up in the Air Best Supporting Actress: Anna Kendrick, Up in the Air
Best Screenplay: Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner, Up in the Air
