On her childhood: [I was] one of those hyperactive kids who wanted to jump around and sing and dance and scream and be on stage.
On her first role being Annie: It's a little cliché, I really wish it was something other than that, because it just seems so trite.
On her acting philosophy: An actor should always let humility outweigh ambition.
On being one of Variety's 10 to Watch: I guess it means people are supposed to watch me, and it makes me kinda nervous, because I don't want to screw it up. I'm kinda klutzy; don't think I should be watched.
On her athletic abilities: Oh, well, apparently I think I'm an 11-year-old boy. But I took it like a dude and just got back on. It's one of those skateboards that, like, twists.
On her favorite color: Oh, man! It can't be blue. That's so boring and awful! I'm sorry, but you know, it makes me feel unoriginal. Maybe, no, it is blue. It's blue!
