This is far from a done deal but looks like Anna has a potential project on the table. She’s been offered a role in a new comedy called “Get a Job” from “Roger Dodger” director Dylan Kidd. Bryan Cranston has also been offered a role. Miles Teller is in talks to star, and others who may sign on include Donald Glover from “Community”, Christopher “McLovin” Mintz-Plasse, and Jesse Eisenberg.

‘Roger Dodger’ helmer attached to laffer; offers out to Kendrick, Cranston

After an eight-year break from feature film directing, “Roger Dodger” helmer Dylan Kidd is looking to return behind the camera, as he’s attached to direct the comedy “Get a Job” for CBS Films. “Project X” thesp Miles Teller is in negotiations to star, and offers are also out to Anna Kendrick and Bryan Cranston.

Several other young comic actors are circling the project, including Donald Glover (“Community”), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (“Kick-Ass”) and Jay Pharaoh (“Saturday Night Live”), as well as “Roger Dodger” star Jesse Eisenberg, for what would amount to a cameo role.

A spokesman for CBS Films cautions that there are no cast deals in place, as the studio has yet to greenlight the project. Pic currently has no official start date, though insiders say production could get underway as early as next month.

Story follows a college graduate and his friends who have to lower their expectations about life as they enter the real world during a recession.

Anna Kendrick keeps “Company” with Shia LaBeouf, Brit Marling and Robert Redford

Oscar nominated actress Anna Kendrick is the latest to join the cast of Robert Redford’s increasingly well-rounded ensemble cast of “The Company You Keep”, in which he stars opposite Shia LaBeouf and Brit Marling. Terrence Howard, Sam Elliot, Brendon Gleeson and 11-year-old “America’s Got Talent” finalist Jackie Evancho have also joined the cast that also includes Nick Nolte, Susan Sarandon, Richard Jenkins, Julie Christie, Stephen Root, Stanley Tucci and Chris Cooper, reports Variety.

Based on the novel by Neil Gordon and adapted for the big screen by Lem Dobbs, “Company” centers around “the story of former Weather Underground militant Jim Grant, wanted by the FBI for 30 years, who must go on the run when his true identity is exposed by a young, ambitious reporter hell-bent on making a name for himself. Redford plays the former radical at the center of this nationwide manhunt and LaBeouf, the determined journalist doggedly chasing him and his story.” Kendrick will play a young FBI agent who’s also LaBeouf’s character’s ex, who provides him with updated information as he tracks down Grant.

The “Up in the Air” actress was recently seen in Jonathan Levine’s critically acclaimed “50/50″ and recently wrapped up “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and David Ayers’ cop drama “End of Watch.” She recently signed on to star in musical comedy “Pitch Perfect”, which begins filming this month in Louisiana.
